The ongoing economic challenges have hit daily wage earners the hardest. To alleviate their struggles, our NGO initiated a massive relief drive last month across 15 villages.
Thanks to the overwhelming support from our corporate partners and individual donors, we successfully procured, packed, and distributed 10,000 essential ration kits. Each kit contained enough supplies (rice, wheat flour, lentils, cooking oil, spices, and soap) to sustain a family of four for an entire month.
This initiative wouldn't have been possible without our dedicated team of 50+ volunteers who worked day and night to pack the kits. We coordinated closely with local village heads to ensure the relief reached the most vulnerable households, particularly widows, the elderly, and those who lost their livelihoods.
"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."
We continue to monitor the situation on the ground and remain committed to supporting our community through thick and thin.
