Charting the Course for Greater Impact
The annual board meeting of Efendl Welfare Education Trust was held this week at our headquarters, bringing together all trustees, senior staff, and key stakeholders. The three-day strategic planning session was aimed at reviewing our performance over the past year and setting ambitious yet achievable goals for 2026-2027.
Key Achievements of the Past Year
We are proud to share some remarkable milestones:
- 12,000+ students enrolled across our 35 community learning centers
- 45 free medical camps organized, serving over 25,000 patients
- 8 women empowerment centers trained 2,500 women in tailoring, computer skills, and entrepreneurship
- Rs. 2.5 crore raised through donations and CSR partnerships
- 15 new partnerships with government bodies and international NGOs
Vision for 2026-2027
The board unanimously approved an expansion plan that aims to double our impact across all verticals:
- Launch 3 new mobile medical units to reach underserved tribal areas in Chhattisgarh and Odisha
- Establish 5 additional women empowerment centers in rural Rajasthan and UP
- Roll out a digital literacy program for senior citizens in urban slums
- Create a youth fellowship program to recruit and train 100 young social leaders
